Dear CESASC Friends and Colleagues,
We would like to thank you again for attending our 2017 CESASC annual convention in April of this year. Now we need your help for our membership and coming election.
As you might be aware, anyone attending the CESASC Annual Convention also receives a one-year membership that is effective from the July 1st immediately following the convention, and is eligible to participate in CESASC’s general election during that year. We are asking for your help in providing the contact information for the attendees represented in your association tables. We do not have most of the information for the attendees in a sister association sponsored table because we usually have only the table leaders contact information.

About the Book
From the clipper ships that ventured to Canton hauling cargos of American ginseng to swap Chinese tea, to the US warships facing off against China's growing navy in the South China Sea, from the Yankee missionaries who brought Christianity and education to China, to the Chinese who built the American West, the United States and China have always been dramatically intertwined. For more than two centuries, American and Chinese statesmen, merchants, missionaries, and adventurers, men and women, have profoundly influenced the fate of these nations. While we tend to think of America''''s ties with China as starting in 1972 with the visit of President Richard Nixon to China, the patterns-rapturous enchantment followed by angry disillusionment-were set in motion hundreds of years earlier.
Drawing on personal letters, diaries, memoirs, government documents, and contemporary news reports, John Pomfret reconstructs the surprising, tragic, and marvelous ways Americans and Chinese have engaged with one another through the centuries. About the Author
John Pomfret served as a correspondent for the Washington Post for two decades, covering wars, revolutions, and China. He is the author of the acclaimed book Chinese Lessons, and has won awards for his reporting on Asia, including the Osborne Elliot Prize. He holds a BA and MA from Stanford University and was one of the first American students to go to China after relations were normalized. Pomfret was expelled from China after the Tiananmen Square massacre in 1989. Most recently, he was a Fulbright senior scholar in Beijing. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing.

The USC U.S.-China Institute presents a talk by Lenora Chu, whose new book explores what takes place behind closed classroom doors in China''''s education system. Chu's eye-opening investigation challenges assumptions and considers the true value and purpose of education. Lenora Chu is an American writer and journalist with degrees from Stanford and Columbia. A former contributing writer for CNNMoney.com and a broadcast correspondent with Thomson Reuters, she began her journalism career as a political reporter in the United States. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, Science, the Christian Science Monitor, and on various NPR shows, including Marketplace and PRI's The World.

The Conference is a unique peer-to-peer premier gathering of California Community College (and other institutions), faculty, staff, and administrators leading the way in developing innovative and effective online education. We will be looking for session proposals that challenge and engage by in-depth examination of relevant topics within the following tracks: Effective Practices, Support and Resources, Technology Innovation, Professional Development and Leadership and Evaluation.

长春长光辰英生物科学仪器有限公司（简称长光辰英）是由海外归国团队、长春奥普光电技术股份有限公司（上市公司）和自然人等股东投资设立的高技术企业，主要开展光学、生物学、医学等领域科学仪器的研发、生产、销售及技术服务等工作。
根据公司业务发展需要，现招聘公司员工19名，招聘信息如下：
一、岗位需求及工资待遇
详见附件1 。
二、招聘对象及有关待遇
（一）招聘对象
1、大学应届毕业生；
2、社会有相关从业经历人员（45岁以下）。对有相关从业经历的优秀人员学历要求可适当放宽。
（二）有关待遇
1、工资收入：聘用人员试用期3-6个月，试用期间工资按岗位工资80%发放。正式聘用人员收入为岗位工资加年度绩效奖金。并提供必要的福利政策。
2、保险与公积金：办理国家规定的保险及住房公积金。
3、在职深造：表现优异员工可在职攻读学位和推荐至国外进修。在职期间提供相关专业和技术培训。
4、股权激励：表现优异员工可按公司有关规定享受公司股权激励政策。
三、应聘流程
（一）应聘资料投递
应聘人员需下载填写《长光辰英公司应聘人员登记表》（模板见附件2），同时提交一封求职信(Cover Letter)并采取邮件方式投递至公司专用邮箱。报名截止时间10月20日17:30。
考虑海外团队时间，公司第一次面试时间为9月初，第二次面试时间为报名截止后择机安排。
（二）考核环节
考核分为资格审查和面试环节。公司会将资格审查结果通知到应聘者，通过资格审查人员按公司通知时间和地点参加面试。面试时请携带身份证、各阶段学历证明、学位证书、从业资格证的原件和复印件，以及三级（含）以上医院或校医院（仅限应届毕业生提供）体检证明。
