2010 年中国寻根之旅夏令营在京闭幕式
据"中国华文教育网"报道, 由国务院侨务办公室和中国海外交流协会主办的2010年"中国寻根之旅"夏令营已于7月27日在京闭幕。来自世界51个国家和港澳台地区的6000余名华裔青少年当晚欢聚在国家体育馆，举行盛大联欢晚会，欢庆夏令营成功举办。 中外青少年在联欢会上载歌载舞，演出了武术、民族歌舞、合唱、街舞等丰富多彩的节目。华侨大学学生一通热情欢快的《24节令鼓》拉开了晚会的序幕。香港营员的歌舞表演《我和我的祖国》、澳门营员的深情演唱《七子之歌》、台湾营员的大合唱《我们都是一家人》、美国营员极具民族特色的舞蹈《佤山谣》、龙韵舞团活泼俏皮的《功夫熊猫》等节目，都受到夏令营营员们的欢迎，场上欢声阵阵，掌声如潮，气氛十分热烈。 国务院侨办主任李海峰，副主任赵阳、马儒沛，中国海外交流协会副会长王杰，中国侨联副主席乔卫等与海内外青少年一起观看了精彩的演出。中央电视台新闻连播中报道本次盛会闭幕仪式时播放了《佤山谣》的片段.
报道中的美国营员即是芝加哥希林艺术中心儿童舞蹈团的孩子们. 据悉本次联欢会上表演的节目是从世界各地报送的数百个节目中精心挑选组合的. 由于演出时间的限制, 被通知参加演出的节目到北京后还有最后的筛选, 芝加哥希林艺术中心儿童舞蹈团的孩子们最终不负众望,脱颖而出, 成为美国儿童的代表. 凤凰卫视即将采访希林艺术中心儿童舞蹈团. (请关注后续具体报道)

International Programs, Asia at University Extended Education of Cal State Fullerton has a couple of part-time interpretation job openings available right now.
The prospective candidates are supposed to have a good command of English and Chinese languages. Fluent written translation and oral interpretation between English and Chinese are required. Good interpersonal communication skills and responsiveness in email and cell phone calls. Good writing skills in both English and Chinese are a plus.
