Greetings for Asian/Chinese Lunar New Year of Tiger
Happy the New Year of Tiger!
2/14/2010. According to the Chinese Zodiac, the Year of 2010 is the Year of a Golden Tiger. The first day of the lunar New Year 2010 falls on the 14th day of February, which is Saint Valentine''''s Day, so it is a day the West celebrates as a day of romance.
To the Chinese, it is the start of the Golden Tiger Year. The Tiger is the third sign in the cycle of Chinese Zodiac, which consists of 12 animal signs.
It is a sign of courage. This fearless and fiery fighter is revered by the ancient Chinese as the sign that wards off the three main disasters of a household: fire, thieves and ghosts. Year Of The Tiger - 1914, 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998
It is said that people born in the year of Tiger are sensitive, given to deep thinking, capable of great sympathy. They can be extremely short-tempered, however.
Other people have great respect for them, but sometimes tiger people come into conflict with older people or those in authority. sometimes Tiger people cannot make up their minds, which can result in a poor, hasty decision or a sound decision arrived at too late.
They are suspicious of others, but they are courageous and powerful. Tigers are most compatible with Horses, Dragons, and Dogs in marriage.
