The City of Murrieta, Economic Development Department and CMTC are promoting Manufacturing Day on October 7, 2016. It is a national celebration of modern manufacturing designed to inspire the next generation of manufacturers. The theme this year is "Opening Doors and Minds."
The goal is to address misperceptions about the manufacturing industry and allow students to connect with manufacturers and see what manufacturing is all about by attending open houses. With technology advances in manufacturing, career options are now available as never before. Manufacturing Day allows students to see what manufacturing is and isn't.
All events should be registered through www.mfgday.com so that your organization will be recognized at the national level. Many resources are available for hosts on the site that offer assistance in how to host an event for Manufacturing Day.

The Tutorial Workshop "Topics in nonlinear dynamics", the 11th in the series, will take place in Milano on September 26-28, 2016. 天普市夏季演唱會即將在天普公園登場，音樂會今年主題是「讓人難忘的夏天」（A Summer to Remember），每周三晚上7時演出至8月31日。8月10日是Sharon & The Chevelles表演50年代和60年代的曲目，包括披頭士樂隊的作品。8月17日和24日將分別由蒙蒂貝婁的Wiseguys和來自河濱縣Temecula市的經典搖滾樂隊Jones Revenge表演。8月31日晚的壓軸演出將由Fortunate Son表演經典爵士和鄉村樂。公園將現場出售食物，但不允許飲用酒精飲料，也不能帶寵物進入公園。雨棚和雨傘也不能帶入音樂會區域，但民眾可自行攜帶小椅子、毛毯等。同時，天普市從現在開始起至9月1日前，接受音樂人報名，有興趣在明年夏季演唱會表演的團體可聯絡dingram@templecity.us，提交作品。

第七届國際童玩假日活動日将在庫市紀念公園舉行,每年都有超過兩萬人次。今年主辦單位從台灣邀請了台中市,宜蘭縣市,新竹等5個專業舞蹈團來美國宣慰海外僑胞。除此之外, 還有兒童服裝秀,兒童歌唱比賽,各種手工藝展及中西醫義診。歡迎所有社區人士闔家光臨,親子同樂, 一起享受台灣美食和其它各國風味美食,觀賞多元文化的精彩表演及國際各種童玩獻藝。現場還有摸彩活動,獎品豐富,包括台灣美國來回機票,迷你I Pad,科技博物館入場券及現金獎等。
