华人歌手李健2016「看见李健」巡回演唱会即将于3月20日在纽约举办。李健此次演唱会将由四大主题组成：看见青春-看见爱情-看见大地-看见人生。四大篇章代表了李健的自我解构，既是已创作作品的"四大乐章"，也是已走过的"四幕人生"。「看见李健」将以朴实而深刻的方式，让乐迷们眼见、心见一位完整的李健，也让所有的"异乡人"能在这里跟着他，看见故乡的灯光。出道十余年，李健的音乐干净、诗意、质朴，如一股清泉流淌在听者心间。除了诗歌般的中文唱词，更善于通过歌声与旋律表达意境情绪。随着2015年《我是歌手》节目的播出，这位被形容为"中国的Leonard Cohen（莱昂纳多·科恩）"的独立音乐人，很快受到了大范围的瞩目和赞许，并在随即展开的个人巡回演唱会中创造了场场一票难求的佳绩。此次来到美国举办2016「看见李健」世界巡回演唱会纽约站演出，李健将为对他期待已久的在美华人听友，带来众多见人见心的温暖之作，同时让海外观众一睹这位中国极具人文气质的"音乐诗人"所带来的高水准现场。TVC在线观看链接：

“Perils of Social Perception: Implications for Leadership and Professional Development”

While we all acknowledge that other people are frequently biased in their judgments of others, we tend to think that we ourselves are not, a phenomenon that has beed dubbed "the bias blindspot." In fact few of us are free of bias in our social judgments. In my presentation I will focus on the special case of unintentional or "implicit" bias, and discuss its implications for cases central to leadership such as hiring, promotion, and creating a positive work environment. Finally, I will discuss some simple ways in which we can reduce or eliminate our own biases, improving both our ethical and professional outcomes. Contacting (626)350-1500.

An overview of the three C's and four P's of Core Marketing. Consumer, Company, Competition and Price, Product, Place, and Promotion. Aimee Drolet Rossi specializes in consumer decision-making and teaches in the full-time MBA, Fully Employed MBA and doctoral programs at UCLA Anderson she is also the school’s current marketing area chair. She co-authored and co-edited The Aging Consumer: Perspectives from Psychology and Economics, named one of Choice Magazine’s Top 10 Outstanding Academic Titles in Business, Management and Labor in 2011. It examines how population aging and the changing consumption habits of older adults may alter the consumer market.

The Effect of Early Western Movies and Theatre on China

The introduction of early Western theatre and movies into China in the 1850s and 1890s respectively contributed to an unprecedented cultural blending between the East and the West. Prof. Tang Zhenhai, a literary critic, will analyze the effect on China by revealing how the Western theatre and movies forced their way into a closed country and were readily embraced by the public. |
