Comparably, this statement seems also misleading. Readers can do some research on Wiki to get basic knowledge of what is required to constitute a defamation suit. By the way, if someone gets severe emotionally distressed directly due to this, one can file a suit against the deep pocket of money such as Mr. Ma Yun, :-) If there are a lot of people who are similarly situated to be emotionally distressed, a class-action suit will be needed for a lot of money, :-) :-), and of course, American lawyers will get a lot of money too, :-) :-) :-).

For some reasons, I do feel this statement has little to do with the demand letter at issue, although I do understand where you come from. Under law, there is no difference between your own folks inside and their own folks outside. Personally, I don''t believe Mr. Ma Yun knows all about these or understand the consequences either. On the other hand, it reflects how much Chinese lawyers need to learn, Chinese legal system needs to catch up, and Chinese way of thinking in law needs to be reformed as well.
The implications from the legal process and derived issues, if this case is moving forward, will have a greater impact than this so-called defamation case itself, as I can predict. |

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARE ALONE & HAVING A HEART ATTACK
1 Let's say it's 7:25 pm and you're going home (alone of course) after an unusually hard day on the job.
2 You're really tired, upset and frustrated.
3 Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to drag out into your arm and up in to your jaw. You are only about five miles from the hospital nearest your home.
4 Unfortunately you don't know if you'll be able to make it that far.
5 You have been trained in CPR, but the guy that taught the course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself.
6 HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE?
Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness.
7 However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest. A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again.
8 Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital.
9 Tell as many other people as possible about this. It could save their lives!!
10 A cardiologist says If everyone who gets this mail kindly sends it to 10 people, you can bet that we'll save at least one life. |

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Oxford Symposium on Population, Migration, and the Environment. The symposium will be held 21 and 22 March 2016 at Wadham College, Oxford, UK. We invite you to present a paper that encourages the exchange of interdisciplinary ideas about the main themes of the conference: world population increase, human migration, and environmental sustainability. Alternatively, you may wish to attend as an observer or panel member.
The Symposium seeks to cover a broad agenda that includes disciplines such as economics, education, environmental studies, agriculture, law, political science, religion, and social studies. Topics for presentation may reach beyond these areas, and our website contains an extensive list of suggested topics. Papers presented at the meeting will be subsequently peer-reviewed by external readers for possible inclusion in Symposium Books or sponsored academic journals.
