Chinese President Xi Jinping concluded his first state visit to the United States in September. What are the achievements of the visit? What impact the visit would make on China-US relations? What’s China’s new role in the world as the second largest economy? What does China’s rise mean to the US and the rest of the world? What’s the features of China’s Public Diplomacy? Deputy Consul General Lushan Sun, a senior and professional Chinese diplomat will share with you his observations. Lushan Sun is the Deputy Consul General of the Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles, who has served in diplomatic service for nearly 30 years. Besides working in the headquarters of the Chinese Foreign Ministry in Beijing, his past overseas postings include Pakistan and Canada.
