JQAC is an international journal devoted to the examination of the relationships between Communication Science and Quantitative method across a wide range of perspectives and settings, theoretical, different methodological approaches and applied. Topics include communication studies, media and critical thinking, media theories and techniques, media and human-computer interaction, cultural studies, media systems, media, identity and quantitative techniques, methodological researches.
Overview The Journal of Quantitative Analysis in Communication is an interdisciplinary platform that publishes articles representing a wide range of academic disciplines, including sociology, history, political science, literature, cultural and gender studies and a variety of research methods. Articles submitted to this journal must be original and not have been published elsewhere. It publishes articles that report empirical studies, develop communication theory, and enhance research methodology. All types of papers and research procedures are valued by the journal, including surveys, case studies, new methods, time series, conceptual analysis, and legal analysis.

Orchid Pavilion Gathering China Institute Gallery cordially invites you to our 3rd Annual Orchid Pavilion Gathering Orchid Pavilion Gatherings are held every spring at China Institute to celebrate and encourage artistic inspiration in the spirit of Wang Xizhi''s (307-365) famous gathering with his poet friends on Mount Kuaiji.This year''s theme is现代样板戏, or the eight Model Revolutionary Operas. These operas were created during the Cultural Revolution (1966-1976) to entertain workers, peasant and soldiers. We will be screening clips from these operas, and special guest Ms. Qi Shufang 齐淑芳, a master of opera, will perform a short section of智取威虎山 [Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy] at 1:00PM. Ms. Qi played the major role, "Xiao Changbao"小常宝. This is a rare opportunity to learn about Revolutionary Operas and meet a renowned opera performer, as well as your last chance to view the exhibition "Mao''s Golden Mangoes and the Cultural Revolution" before it closes!
