联想的盘算
从联想的历次"并购换市场"的收购轨迹来看，被谷歌吃干榨净的摩托罗拉并非一无是处，起码还剩了些骨头渣，拼成个马甲，去敲欧美市场的大门，但难度也绝非一般。据了解，摩托罗拉在美国以及全球智能手机的市场份额持续恶化，去年第三季度数据显示，在美国本土摩托罗拉市场份额不足7%。而且从早年间收购IBM(176.99, -0.26, -0.15%)的PC业务看，联想心里明白，收购美国企业距离打开美国市场的大门还差很远。
摩托罗拉的品牌影响力更是江河日下，在谷歌一轮又一轮的裁员中摩托罗拉的人才也早就所剩无几。虽然官方公告显示，联想在这次收购中共买到2000项移动领域相关专利，但相信谷歌绝不会轻易吐出到嘴的"肥肉"。
而且，要驾驭摩托罗拉也并非易事，29.1亿美元仅仅是入门价，真如联想立下的雄心壮志在2015年将摩托罗拉扭亏为盈，不知还要烧掉多少真金白银。
一切看上去似乎都不是那么美，宣布收购的发布会还没开完，联想的股东们便在二级市场上纷纷用脚投票。华尔街也看淡联想收购摩托罗拉手机业务，花旗报告指出，全球智能手机竞争激烈，认为收购摩托罗拉手机业务对联想盈利不构成利好因素。靠跨国并购做强做大的联想也非凡夫，老谋深算的联想之所以心甘情愿接过摩托罗拉这个烫手山芋，真正用意是靠住谷歌这颗大树。这宗交易的收购资金的安排上可见端倪。收购资本包括6.6亿美元现金和7.5亿美元联想普通股，余下的15亿美元将以三年期期票形式支付。
随着智能手机市场竞争日益激烈，苹果(525.87, 6.19, 1.19%)、微软(36.3, -0.26, -0.70%)、谷歌、三星等巨头们的专利混战早已进入白热化。何况他们在中国也做了大量的专利布局，中国国产品牌手机的专利风险日益突出。可见，联想是想傍上Android系统的带头大哥谷歌，在山雨欲来的专利战中，得到大哥庇护。在各方的精打细算中，摩托罗拉这个昔日的巨头已经彻底地沦为"鱼肉"，无论是谁接手，其用意均不在其长远发展。中国经济时报

The APEX Youth Olympics team is currently looking for individuals that would like to be on the 2014 Youth Olympics Committee. 3月31日 - 4月30日，新疆人力资源和社会保障厅将《报名表》通报新疆企事业单 位， 各企 事业 单位 通过 电子邮件和电话与海外留学人才进行前期对接，与海外留学人才对接成功并初步达成合作意向的企事业单位，以书面形式报告自治区人力资源和社 会保障厅需邀请的海外留学人才和科技合作项目。如果获得正式邀请参加活动，新疆用人单位将为参会者提供路费补助，新疆人社厅 为用人单位提供资助。此项做法和其他地方不同，主要目的是促进报名参加活动的海外学子积极和新疆用人单位互动。

Spread the words to women and non-Chinese-speaking Asian communities: Say No to SCA 5.
Last Wednesday, I talked with a few ladies from India. They did not know about SCA 5 at all. After I told them about its content, they were quite upset that someone would come up with such an unfair bill. They requested me to send them more information.
Women and Asian communities will be seriously hurt by SCA5.
SCA5 has caused a fire storm in Chinese communities already, but many people in non-Chinese-speaking Asian communities do not even know about it at all. We need to spread the words to them. So talk with your Korean, Indian, Japanese, Vietnamese and other non-Chinese-speaking Asian friends.
