她故事真假当然有关系。
如果她的书侧重于她的科技贡献，那么为什么非要加上不实的早期传奇经历呢？无非是要增加书的卖点罢了。可是她为了买书，就不惜歪曲历史，往中国政府脸上抹黑，也不符合科技企业家的形象吧？
她是公众人物，她这样说会加重美国人对中国政府的妖魔化印象，使其更加把中国政府视为不可理喻的野蛮政府，错误的认为中国人民生活在水深火热之中。其他华人有责任有义务指出她书中的不实之处. |

Misrepresentation to obtain immigration benefits is a crime under the US law. It is the matter of fairness to others and integrity to a person in dispute who wants to project himself or herself into the public life by providing the account of information that is misleading, incomplete, and/or false. People in the public have the rightful interest in running the fact-check. In this case, it appears that the person at issue has mispresented herself to obtain the immigration/citizenship benefit. As we all know, misrepresentation to the Feds is a crime. If some one needs money (the reward from the US government) and also has time, this is an opportunity to make quick and big bucks with lawyers and do a good service to our American society. |

Misrepesentation of facts in the application for the U.S. immigration benefits (Green Card and U.S. citizenship) is a crime under the Federal law, if found and convicted, the status will be revoked. The U.S. government might have some whistle-blower program to provide the incentive as well. When one who is considered as a public figure, the manifestation of publications from that person could be used in the court proceeding as the evidence as well. 长期以来一直收到您发来的邮件，获益匪浅，但最近几期只能看到首页，其中每项的内容都打不开，不知是何原因，盼告，谢谢。劳丁。

All of our 12,000 Net members from overseas have no problem to open the http://scholarsupdate.com and UPDATE Newsletter. But the 2200 Net members in China do have hard time to open them since “18 Da”. The only reason could be that the Chinese online police and firewall block it for some reasons. The only reason you can’t visit our Scholars-Net website is that you are in China.
We have no idea why this happens since there had never been any problem since 1992 (to 2012). I guess you may have to wait and see. Hopefully the related Chinese state departments will lift bar instead of cut us off forever.
In our knowledge, most of our Net professors and professionals in China (over half of them are actually take the leadership roles in all kind of institutes and local government departments) used the software of FANQIANG to read our information as usual since they know we are non-political and non-profit making group since the first day of our birth.
But anyway, we do not encourage everyone in China to use the Fanqiang to read our UPDATE or visit our website since it is against the law. We just sincerely hope that the China government and new leadership will be smart enough to let the Chinese people have more freedom to read healthy information from overseas, to understand that whatever we have been doing is significant for the country in the long run.
