1. Orange County API Networking Mixer
Join the APEX OC and other Orange County API organizations for an evening of fun and networking on Thursday, June 21st. This will be a unique summer mixer featuring a variety of professional organizations and interests so there''''s sure to be something for everyone!

2. Footprints to Success - Owning Your Own Business Through Franchising
Have you ever wanted to start your own business but didn''''t want to assume all the risk? If you answered yes, franchising may be the answer for you. Join APEX for a discussion on the ins and outs of franchising on Thursday, June 28th at the Cerritos Library. Panelists representing franchisers in different industries will talk about the types of individuals they want representing their franchises; requirements to to start a franchise; the application process; the type of work franchisees do; work/life balance; the level of autonomy a franchisee has and; of course, profit margins. Panelists will include representatives from Chick-Fil-A, 7-11, and Prudential. Refreshments will be served.
