这几天看到和听到很多有关美华联的故事，其实也只是茶余饭后的笑料。我不认识美华联的领导，倒是配服一个老华侨的正直和勇气。他（她）比美华联的领导值得尊敬，在此向老华侨致敬了。
看到一个修正版的通告，现转发给大家，供你们娱乐。这个通告，可能部分表达了通告背后的真实情况。
美國華人社團聯合會通告（修正版）

美國華人社團聯合會（“美華聯”）常務委員會（“常委會”）（在非常紧急的状态下于今天成立的）於2012年5月14日召開了會議（成立的同时并开了紧急会议），超過半數（本来也没规定总数是多少，不管多少人出席，都能超过半数。其实应该是全体出席，谦虚一点，就算半数吧）的常委會成員出席了會議。根據美華聯《章程》第七章第一條的規定，會議表決有效。
與會常委會成員討論了與美華聯共同主席團現任主席李甫田先生有關的問題（其它的问题也没法讨论，只能讨论李甫田的的职位问题，因为他不在场，比较好讨论）。李甫田先生自就任職後，沒有提出任何工作計畫（提出计划也没有用，我们也不会采纳），沒有參與任何美華聯的領導工作（我们也不想要他参加），並且拒絕與美華聯的其他主要領導人員合作（决不能拒绝与以张素久为核心的领导人合作）、共事。特別是作為共同主席團的主席，李先生沒有按照《章程》第六章第三條的要求定期召開（从来也没有指定定期是多长，我们今天就认定他没有定期召开，尽管他才上任不长）、主持該機構的例會，討論、決定該機構的工作（其实他也没法决定，决定了，我们也不会同意），也沒有按照《章程》第五章第五條的要求開展工作來協調各成員社團之間的聯繫和合作（即使协调了，我们也不会听他的）、配合主席團的工作。李甫田先生近期還在南加州華人社區內又成立了另一個聯合體組織（没有得到我们的同意，简直无法无天），擔任其負責人,並聲明此聯合體不屬於 ”美華聯” 成員社團之一。他的一系列言行，非常不利於維護美華聯的穩定（所有新成立的社团必须属于“美华联”，否则就不利于美华联的稳定）、團結、榮譽與利益（我们的利益，就是美华联的利益，也是美国华侨的利益），因此嚴重違反了《章程》第四章第三條的規定和要求。有鑒於此，常委會對正當提出並獲附議的動議進行了表決（其实表决都是多余的，反正不听张素久话的人都没有参加），通過決議，免去李甫田先生美華聯共同主席團主席的職務（省得他占个位子碍事，免除比较省事），立即生效。根據《章程》第八章第二條的規定，免職後，李甫田先生不得再以美華聯共同主席團主席身份從事活動或發表聲明。（他声明也没有用，我们已经通知了各个部门，要让这个前共同主席永世不得翻身。凭着我们的能耐，惩治不听话的李甫田还不易如反掌）

Thank you so much for the newsletter you sent to me regularly. I am very much enjoy reading them. Kudos to you for your hard work and dedication.
At this time, may I share some conference news with your members? Modern Engineering and Technology Seminars (METS) is a bi-annual event host by Taiwan government and the US Chinese Institute of Engineers (CIE). The 24th bi-annual event will be held in Taipei on the Nov 11 to Nov 24, 2012. Attached is a copy of "Call for Paper" news announcement for your reference. Applicants once accepted by session chairs in Taiwan, all travel expense (air, hotels and meals) will be covered for the duration of this conference. Arrangement will also be made to meet Taiwan''s President Ma at the end of this event.
As announced in the "Call for Paper", there are 6 sessions in the conference. each session will only accept 2-3 speakers to present their papers. Since the announcement of last week, we have already filled up for session 2 (Sustainable Environmental Technology) and session 5 (Digital Education and Learning) . We still have some opportunities for other sessions in the conference. Should your members are qualified and interested, they are cordially invited to submit their speech abstract and short bio by 6/1/2012. Templates for them are also attached for your use.

受南通市委市政府、南通经济技术开发区邀请和委托，全英中国学生学者联谊会将于2012年7月再次组织“全英高科技访问团”赴南通参加2012年“南通市江海英才创业周活动”，访问团现已开始报名，报名截止日期为5月25日。
全英学联赴南通访问团诚挚邀请在英国的学生学者携本人项目共赴南通考察、洽谈，优秀的创业项目将有机会落户江苏南通，名额有限，请有兴趣的学生学者抓紧时间报名。本次活动涉及的相关费用，如国际旅费，及在南通的食宿将由南通方面负责承担，国际旅费补贴标准按3000元人民币。如能够同南通经济技术开发区签署意向协议者，将额外再增加2000元人民币补助。
活动时间：7月6日-7月8日（访问团成员具体报道时间邮件通知）
活动地点：江苏南通
活动安排：2012年南通市江海英才创业周活动将于2012年7月6日—8日（6日注册，8日晚宴后或9日早上离开）在“风水宝地、江海明珠”——南召开。活动期间，将设置展会，组织有关园区、企业与留学人员进行创新成果产业化、创业投资、猎头服务等对接洽谈和实地考察。
7月8日举行国家级南通经济技术开发区分会场活动。活动期间，将组织留学人员与企业及园区对接，参观创业平台—能达科创园、留学人员创业园，居住场所—精装修人才公寓，休闲娱乐区—星湖101街区。进行创新成果产业化、创业投资等对接洽谈和实地考察，促成一批海外人才创新创业项目落户南通。
报名方式：参加全英学联赴南通访问团仅需填写附件中的“参加全英学联创业活动报名表”并发送word格式至talentsuk@gmail.com，请在表中填写预估的机票价格，方便我们进行预算评估，我们将另行通知具体的到达时间及地点。
注意事项：
1、 全英学联赴南通访问活动为全英创业系列活动之一，根据规定，访问团报名成员必须为全英学联创业大赛官网注册用户并且必须为全英创业大赛报名选手，相关注册流程请见大赛官网（www.checuk.org），请注意目前创业大赛报名及计划书递交截止日期已经延长至5月25日。
2、 为保证访问及考察活动顺利进行，由全英学联组织的“高科技访问团”要求每位正式团员需遵守访问规则和纪律。凡确定为访问团正式成员者，将签署参团协议书，以履行参团责任和义务，维护和展示留英学子整体形象。
