「至於那已經嫁娶的，我吩咐他們，其實不是我吩咐，乃是主吩咐說：妻子不可離開丈夫，若是離開了，不可再嫁，或是仍同丈夫和好。丈夫也不可離棄妻子。我對其餘的人說：倘若某弟兄有不信的妻子，妻子也情願和他同住，他就不要離棄妻子。妻子有不信的丈夫，丈夫也情願和他同住，他就不要離棄丈夫。因為不信的丈夫就因著妻子成了聖潔，並且不信的妻子就因著丈夫成了聖潔...。」
保羅特別講到，基督徒不可隨意離婚。當時教會裡，可能有人信主後嫌棄另一半沒信主，在思想觀念上，或在奉獻的事上，常起很多衝突，於是想用信仰的理由，離棄另一半。事實上這不是神的心意，除非是對方要離開，那就由他自己去；但對作基督徒的人來講，寧可被虧負，卻不可虧負別人，這是神的原則。那麼信主之後，面對不信主的配偶，應當怎麼辦？聖經清楚地教導，第一，仍要按情理與對方同住。我們需要在婚姻裡，繼續愛自己的丈夫、妻子，按照情理與其同住。另一方面，也需要為他們禱告，求神的靈感動他們。
我曾經聽到一個姊妹的見證，她為先生禱告了卅三年之久，他才回轉歸向主。從人的角度來講，實在不算短，但在神豈有難成的事？神的熱心至終要成就這事。當另一半沒有信主時，不要操之過急，要仰望禱告，而且生命中要有好的見證。當我們生命有好見證，他們就不得不信服耶穌基督。求主的靈幫助我們，每天生活中能活出基督的樣式，也因著對對方的尊重，讓他們感受到神同在的真實，心就能被感化過來。

主，你滿有恩慈，求你憐憫我們中間每對夫妻，保守我們的心懷意念，不容許仇敵奪去我們的婚姻。藉著禱告，將不信主的另一半帶到你面前，願主的心意成就在他們身上。感謝禱告奉耶穌得勝的名祈求，阿們！

I do hope that Caltech C can have more interaction and stronger connection with your network. Since many of our own members aspire to do well in the future in the academic, some others in industry. The experience of the professors and professional members would be valuable to them. I''''m interested in organizing some event that could benefit the career of our members, as well as contributing to building a better network among scholars in LA. I hope that we can have some chance to talk in the future.
