賴幸媛將於8月25日在洛僑中心舉辦主題為『開創歷史新局 海內外華人同感榮耀 - 談政府大陸政策』的演講。 歡迎賴主委籌委會的榮譽主席為中華會館主席陳健邦；籌委會總召集人為南加州大專校友聯合會會長史廼麗，總幹事為世新大學校友會的朱碧云；籌委會的共同發起人為為國府僑務委員高啟正、華僑商務交流協會理事長劉永文和國民黨青年團團長王天鼎。
賴幸媛的演講，有助於洛杉磯僑胞瞭解政府的兩岸政策。今年是辛亥革命100周年，兩岸關係發展到現在，是在朝著正確的方向。兩岸關係的和平、對等、互利互惠，需要兩岸共同努力。賴幸媛這次來洛演講，是關心台灣發展和兩岸關係的民眾，瞭解政府兩岸政策的好機會，鼓勵僑胞去現場聆聽。隨著兩岸關係的發展，兩岸駐外機構和僑團之間的關係也應該更為融洽。60多年后兩岸由隔閡發展到現在的這種關係，非常不容易。如何在面對大陸時，保持尊嚴和對等，非常難，也是一個非常重要的課題。馬英九的兩岸關係政策，是非常成功的，希望兩岸關係繼續發展。兩岸關係是台灣發展進程中最重要的因素，而且影響或是制約著其他因素。
賴幸媛在8月25日抵達洛杉磯后，中午將于部份僑領聚餐；下午5點接受媒體採訪；當晚7點半在洛僑中心進行演講。

Dear Parents and Students, Xilin Chinese Academy will start its weekend class this Saturday. Please register your classes online and check your classroom assignments.
Ballroom Dance Class
Teacher: Mr. Qiang Yang
Xilin is going to open a new class starting this fall semester: Ballroom Dance Class. Mr. Qiang Yang is the dance instructor for this new course. The style of ballroom dance will be mainly for the dance floor. All of the dances covered in the course - Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Rumba, Cha Cha, and Swing - are tailored for the beginner dancer. Whether you have a partner or not, with some practice you'll learn and master one or all of these dances in no time. Then you'll be dancing the night away!
Class Schedule: 7:30PM - 9:30PM Monday
Class session will start on August 29. Please go online to register.
