不少移民怕投資，是因為沒有投資的起碼常識，如果遇人不淑，往往留下投資失利的教訓。並以訛傳訛，令不少人對投資敬而遠之。現在美國經濟十分糟糕：國債突破上限；股票縮水，401k出血，房地產不停下滑，銀行利息接近零，通貨膨脹暗潮潛湧……投資吧，怕錢打水漂；不投資吧，眼睜睜看錢不斷縮水。怎麼辦？
可是在行家看來，亂世出英雄，美國金融海嘯，潤利高的機會也是前所未有的多！銀行倒弊潮中，幾家大銀行的股票大跌回升，帶來豐厚的利潤。房地產跌跌不休，有人乘低買入，靠房租養房還每月有收入。一些中國大陸有眼光的投資者，到美國加州來買土地，十多萬就成為牧場主、農場主，等孩子在美國留學業，土地已經增值。
為什麼有人賺翻，有人賠慘？因為缺乏投資理財的起碼常識，沒有起碼的判斷准則。事實上，良好回報的投資是移民重要的「美國夢」。怕投資的人往往錯失很多實實在在讓財產增加的良機，聽任辛苦賺來的錢放在銀行裡貶值。這太可惜！多聽各種理財講座，是一種重要的學習。聽得多了，可逐漸入門。這是理財的第一步。
「土地投資是回事？」將為大家分析土地增值的歷史和原因，指出土地增值的必然原因：城市發展，土地就一定會增值。講座將告訴大家，怎樣在看到發展前景時掌握先機，怎樣採取穩妥的策略。白領俱樂部希望大家在學習中學會讓自己的財產穩健增值，生活越來越好。

If you are unable to attend the conference in person virtual registrations are also available which allow you to submit a paper for referring and possible publication. 發表一年的學習成果、向日本311大地震災民送上溫情，南加兒童合唱團「山海之歌」演唱會，將於5月21日晚在亞凱迪亞長老教會舉行。當晚演唱的曲目包括『猶大之河』、『原野的蝴蝶』和『遠離澎湃的海洋』等30首歌曲。演唱會指揮有林雲郎、華木蘭和莊靜宜等，郭雋律、林楊雅敏和華木蘭等擔任伴奏。
