How a professor working with his student and his family was able to make accommodations so the student''s strengths were met with success. It''s heartwarming to observe these experiences taking place. I have a niece who is special needs and is very involved with the special Olympics and other sports. One day at a luncheon for "Cancer," the speaker asked everyone to reflect on their life and if they could - what changes would they make? My niece said, "I don''t have any changes - I''m happy with my life!"

现在是日本最困难的时刻，地震引起的次生灾害，其对人类的影响大大出乎人们的意料。通过电视，看到了核电站事故的发展，感觉现公布的一些情况可能只是冰山一角，所以，我想，也应提请大家，如有条件，还是暂时的躲避一下。核事故的处理，是需要断然措施的，可能会需有人献身，现在仅是看到机器人，可能是很不够的。还是需大家尽量的少外出（30公里半径是否足够存疑？），外出时一定需采取自我保护措施。请转告社长及各位日本朋友，保佑日本！ |

中國總理溫家寶在最近八個月內至少四度倡議中國改革，「驚人之筆」也不斷出現。他說，中國經濟已經繁榮，政治體制需要開放，堅守法治。 今年1月24日又破天荒地在北京國家信訪局會見上訪民眾，成為中共建政61年以來第一位會晤上訪者的中國總理，擔任總理以來，溫家寶經常與百姓打成一片，特別是窮人和無依無靠的弱勢族群。
2011年1月24日，就在两会召开的前夕，溫家寶在北京首次會晤上訪民眾，打破「禁忌」，令各界大吃一驚。他坦率表示：「今天到這裡來同大家交流，主要是想透過這種形式，了解政府工作還存在哪些問題。請大家不要拘束，把情況實事求是地講出來。」溫家寶說，政府須拓寬聽取民意的渠道，負責任地解決群眾的困難和問題，政府亦須運用手中權力，為人民謀利益。
“知屋漏者在宇下，知政失者在草野”，即为人民服务的政府，应该坚持“执政为民”，努力建设责任政府和服务政府的应尽之责，也是温总理对各级政府工作人员的告诫和要求。也是新时期中国共产党人以改进“倾听”为重要标志，践行全心全意为人民服务宗旨的政治自觉，是顺应时代、科学发展的具体行动。无论是“要拓宽人民群众向政府提出意见和建议的渠道”，还是“创造条件让人民群众批评和监督政府”，以及“负责任地解决人民群众的困难和问题”，温总理在不同场合多次提出并强调。
中国网评论指出：能够“上访”是法律赋予公民表达自己的意愿和要求的权利，是国家政治生活民主化的具体体现。政治自由是民主政治的基础。让人民充分表达自己的意愿，参与国家政治生活，敢于讲话，敢讲真话，这也是人民行使当家作主权利的重要方式。只有广大人民真正享有这些政治自由，对国家和社会生活中的重大问题发表意见，提出要求，才能充分发挥其在国家政治生活中的积极性和创造性，我们的政治制度才能不断完善，不断充分生机和活力，国家才能真正实现和谐稳定。温总理接访，民声的倾听，让我们聆听到了中国政治文明前进的脚步声。
接着在今年1月25日，溫家寶主持召開工人、農民、學生等基層群眾代表座談會，更強調：「我們的政府是人民的政府，我們的權力是人民賦予的，我們應該為人民謀利益並自覺接受人民的監督。群眾滿意不滿意、高興不高興、答應不答應，是衡量政府工作好壞的唯一標準。」
“如将不尽，与古为新”这是伟人执政的智慧，这是各级领导人都要推敲的为什么要改革的道理。 |
