中國最牛的十個漢字 認識五個以上，絕對稱得上大師了
一.最色的漢字“姦”
這個字讀“奸”，好似奸的異體字。《說文》解釋為“私”“竊”的意思。常言道:“三個女人一台戲”，這個字充滿了色情和曖昧的情調。
二.最滑的漢字“鱻”
三條魚，味道鮮美。這個字讀作“鮮”，同時，也是鮮的異體字。原指生魚，解釋為“新鮮”，“明麗”的意思，也指鮮美，應時的食物。
三.最鬧的漢字“猋”
這個字讀作“標”。三條狗糾纏在一起，象形字，表示狗奔跑的樣子，引申一步，是迅速，飆升的意思。
四.最頂的漢字“麤”
這個字讀“粗”，也是“粗”字的異體字。從字形上看，一頭大鹿兩頭小鹿，死死地頂在一起，似乎彼此混攪，非常有力氣。可是，實際只表達了動粗的意思。
五.最畜生的漢字“羴”
這個字讀“山”，也是“膻”的異體字。掉進羊群裡還能聞見甚麼好味道啊?臊氣!有句成語叫做“趨腥附膻”，所謂“膻”就是羊肉的味道。
六.最敏感的漢字“毳”
這個字讀作“脆”。三根毛指的是毛髮。醫學上專門有“毳毛”一詞，指人體表面除頭髮、陰毛、腋毛外，其他部位生的細毛，俗稱“寒毛”。既然是“寒毛”就非常敏感，它代替人體傳遞冷熱寒暑的細膩感覺。
七.最殘忍的漢字“蠱”
這個字讀“古”。古人把許多有毒的蟲子聚斂到一起，讓它們彼此吞噬，互相殘殺，最後剩下的就是“蠱”——這玩意性情殘忍，毒性最烈，放在食物中，足以致人死命。
八.最昂貴的漢字“贔”
這個字讀“必”。“貝”就是錢，一上兩下三個“貝”字碼在一起,表示用力的樣子。俗話說得好，飯好吃，錢難掙。金錢，名位所在，必然削尖腦袋往裡鑽，怎能不費勁呢!
九.最土的漢字“垚”
這個字讀“堯”，形容山高。並不是意外的巧合，在“金，木，水，火，土”這五行中，每個字都可以擺成品行結構，都能派生出一個截然不同的漢字。雖然是一副土頭土臉的模樣，但是核心是霄拔巍峨，直插雲霄。
十.最具力量的漢字“犇”
這個字讀“奔”，也是“奔”的異體字。一頭牛就力大無窮了，何況三頭牛成隊列一起前進，那力量不言而喻了。這個字實際是“奔跑，急匆匆”的意思。

為落實美國國會於2009年所提之HR784決議案，美國國會圖書館將推出以「儒學為世界文化遺產」為主題的兩場論壇，將公元前500年開始影響中國，乃至影響現今世界文明的孔子和其儒家思想，介紹給華裔及主流社會。
HR784決議案由德州國會眾議員葛林（Al Green）發起，旨在慶祝孔子誕生2560年紀念及肯定孔子在哲學、社會及政治思想的貢獻，該決議案獲41位國會議員的支持。
國會圖書館亞洲部為落實此決議案，特地於紀念孔子誕辰的9月11及15日，聯合美華協會華府分會（OCA-DC）、海華社區活動中心及大華府祭孔大典委員會共同主辦兩場針對華裔與主流社會的大型活動。
11日（周六）活動自下午1時至下午5時30分，在亞洲部閱覽室（傑佛遜大樓LJ150室），主題為「儒學是中華文化的精華」，內容主要針對華裔社區。會中將由孔子第76代嫡孫孔令和演講「『孔子世家譜的歷史』編撰」；其女董愷悌現任電視新聞主播，亦將以「成長在孔教的環境裡」為題演講。
此外將有八佾舞的示範表演，以及華府書畫家毛戎談「欣賞古代中國文化：正體字的實際價值和藝術價值」、華裔學者邵耀成談「孔子這個人及永恆的影響」、史學家許倬雲將談「全球化時代下儒家思想與價值」。書法家王純傑將應邀做論語書法示範，現場也將展示儒學書籍。
15日（周三）活動在國會議員專用室舉行，主題為「儒學對世界的影響」，不對外開放。貴賓包括葛林、前美國勞工部長趙小蘭、台北駐美代表袁健生、美國在台協會前理事主席丁大衛、美國日裔國會眾議員本田、華裔國會眾議員趙美心、華府聞人陳香梅等，將就孔子的貢獻及其儒家思想對世界及華裔的影響發表演講。

Forget Sorrow - An Exhibition by Celebrated Author and Illustrator Belle Yang
September 9 – October 31, 2010
The exhibition presents illustrated works by Belle Yang, the subject of the CINE Golden Eagle award-winning PBS documentary, My Name is Belle. The selected works range from color illustrations from her children’s book Always Come Home to Me, a 2008 Best Children's Book awarded by Chinese American Librarians Association, to black and white illustrations from her most recent publication, Forget Sorrow: An Ancestral Tale, a graphic memoir.
