AAPA Leadership Symposium The 2012 Annual Leadership Symposium brought over 350 AAPI leaders, corporate executives and management consultants together to explore and share their insights on how to Build a Diverse Leadership Pipeline in Corporate America. If you were able to attend the amazing AAPA Leadership Symposium this year you would have witnessed the most visionary and dynamic speakers on the subject of leadership and diversity! These speakers, including Anne Shen Smith, Justin Skelton, Colonel R. Mark Toy and Professor Thomas Sy connected with the attendees. The presentations they gave and the insightful discussions by the panelists were shared and talked about continuously throughout the remainder of the day. Many attendees commented on how they appreciated the opportunity to meet leaders, movers, and shakers and to network; how inspirational and knowledgeable all of the speakers and panelists were; and how seeing successful Asians and hearing their perspective on the ways to improve APIs in the roles of leadership. With the incredible support of the AAPA Board, Symposium Committee, volunteers, speakers and all of the wonderful attendees, we feel that the goals of the symposium were definitely accomplished. We hope to see all of you at the next Leadership Symposium!
