Center for Women and Men Launches New Programs and Services
The USC Center for Women and Men(CWM)offers two new support groups, both facilitated by experts in the field. THRIVE meets Mondays and offers participants an avenue to process past abuse and traumatic experiences by employing a different art expression activity each week. Group members are provided with a safe space to share and receive support around their experiences and the art that they create. The second group, EMPOWERED, meets Thursdays and provides a safe space for survivors of intimate partner violence and domestic violence to process their experiences and heal from unhealthy relationships. In addition, the USC Center for Women & Men will be starting a new co-ed leadership-development program designed to empower students interested in enhancing the campus culture. This new leadership-development program complements USC Men Care, the university’s all-male leadership initiative. Both of these new leadership-development programs are looking for USC students interested in making a positive difference. Visit
