(English summary:Professor Xu Weixin, who recently completed his tenure as the Dean of the School of Art at Renmin University in Beijing, is a renowned scholar and oil painter. At this slide illustrated-lecture, he will relate his experience creating his famous series Chinese Historical Figures 1966 - 1976, which consists of over 100 oil paintings of a variety of figures from the Cultural Revolution.)
