Dear friends of CSUN China Institute,
Hope you all have a smooth start of Spring semester. It has been about a year since COVID-19 broke out, and this year we’ll plan to host our Chinese New Year’s celebration party online. We have tentatively decided on the evening of Feb. 27th, Saturday, from 7 pm to 8:30 pm, for our online celebration. Please mark this date on your calendar if you plan to join us, and more detailed information will follow soon.
Given the traveling limitations caused by the pandemic, we have asked another trial of the largest online database on Chinese journals, books, and dissertations: www.CNKI.net, and you may have free access to the database until Feb. 28th from CSUN domain –this means you need to use VPN to log on CSUN to be able to use the database. If you find it useful, please let your librarians or me know about it, and we may petition the University Library to subscribe to it.
