未满14岁的申请人参加面谈:自6月10日起,所有未满14岁且将在美国驻华使领馆递交非移民签证申请的申请人须在预约后由至少父母一方陪同面谈。他们将不再符合免面谈代传递的资格。他们还需携带以下原件(非复印件)一同出席面谈:
未成年申请人的出生证明
户口本(如适用)
父母双方护照(新旧护照)
父母结婚证(如适用)
在6月10日前,凡通过免面谈代传递程序向美国驻华使领馆递交申请的14岁以下申请人仍可使用该程序。请注意某些情况下,申请人仍会被要求亲自出席美国驻华使领馆的面谈。

Service Message:Interviews for Minors Under 14
Starting June 10, all applicants who are under 14 years of age and are applying for a nonimmigrant visa at the U.S. Embassy or a U.S. Consulate General in China must schedule an interview and appear for their interview with at least one parent(both parents are recommended to join). They may no longer use the Interview Waiver process. They must also bring the originals(not copies)of the following documents to the interview:
Minor's birth certificate.
Household registration book(hukou 戶口), if applicable.
Both parents' passports(current and former).
Parents’ marriage certificate, if applicable.
Applicants under 14 years of age who are applying for a nonimmigrant visa at the U.S. Embassy or Consulates in China and have scheduled an appointment before June 10 to submit their visa application materials through the Interview Waiver process may continue to use the Interview Waiver process. Please note that in some cases, applicants may still be required to appear for an in-person visa interview at the U.S. Embassy or Consulates.
