　　為熱烈慶祝南加州中華科工學會創會五十週年，紀念特刊將在二零一二年四月二十二日舉行的年會上隆重推出，熱切歡迎大家踴躍賜稿。根據收稿情況，紀念特刊除岀印刷版外，還將岀電子增版，在南加州中華科工學會的網站上發行。

　　現將有關投稿事項奉告於下。

一、主題與內容

　　本紀念特刊以“回顧與前瞻＂作為主題，呈現南加州中華科工學會過去半個世紀的歷程和貢獻，表達對南加州中華科工學會未來的期盼和展望。學會活動的追憶，學會人物的特寫，心中的感懷，思想的火花，學會的愿景，未來的建言，都是特刊要登載的內容。

二、稿約與細則

　　1、各種與主題相關的稿件均受歡迎；來稿體裁不限，風格不拘；散文、詩詞、小說、論述、日記、信札、書法、照片等均可。

　　2、文稿文責自負。

　　3、來稿力求短小精悍。中文、英文書寫都行。本編輯組對來稿有刪改權及取捨權，對此有異議者請在投稿之前與本特刊總編輯顏利平先生聯繫（電話：７１４－５９６－０８８３）。

　　4、本特刊無稿費。

　　5、如有任何問題和建議，或想在投稿之前討論寫作計劃，請與顏利平總編輯聯繫。

Call for Articles

Special Edition Yearbook for CESASC 50th Anniversary

Dear Members and Friends：

We are going to prepare a special edition yearbook in commemoration of CESASC 50th Anniversary, to be presented at the Grand Gala on April 22, 2012.  We eagerly look forward to your active participation by sending in your articles of commemoration.  Based on the numbers and quality of articles received, we may publish a supplemental electronic issue of the special edition yearbook on-line at CESASC website in addition to the printing issue.

Please observe the following protocols when you prepare your articles.

I. Theme and Content

The Theme of the Special Edition Yearbook is “Retrospective and Prospective,” to showcase what CESASC has been experiencing and contributed in the past half century as well as to express your expectation and prospective for CESASC in the future.  Recalling activities of CESASC, descriptions about the people involved in CESASC, recollections in hearts, sparks of thoughts, vision of CESASC, and suggestions for the future are all to be covered in this special edition yearbook.

II. Requirements and Specific Instructions

1. All genres of articles relating to the theme are welcome, which could be prose, poem, novel, exposition, journal, letter, calligraphy, photos, etc.
2. The author will be assuming all liabilities of the article.
3. Authors should strive to make the articles concise and well organized.  Articles can be written in either Chinese or English.  The editors reserve the right to edit the articles and to accept or reject the articles.  Those who have concern about the rights should contact Mr. Liping Yan（Editor-in-Chief）before submitting any articles.  The phone number is 714-596-0883.
4. No compensation will be paid for the articled contributed.
5. If you have any questions and suggestions or would like to discuss your writing plan, please do not hesitate to contact Liping Yan, the Editor-in-Chief of this special publication.
