About Hongyi Zhou
Mr. Hongyi Zhou is a co-founder of Qihoo 360 and chief executive officer since August 2006. Mr. Zhou has over ten years of managerial and operational experience in China's Internet industry. Prior to founding Qihoo, Mr. Zhou was a partner at IDG Ventures Capital since September 2005. Previously, Mr. Zhou was the chief executive officer of Yahoo! China from January 2004 to August 2005. In 1998, Mr. Zhou founded www.3721.com, and served as its chairman and chief executive officer until www.3721.com was acquired by Yahoo! China in January 2004.

2011华人经济领袖商学院巡讲在北京举行,作为中国最大互联网安全软件提供商的创始人,360董事长周鸿祎应邀成为此次论坛的主讲嘉宾。在谈及企业如何通过不断创新赢得可持续性发展的话题时,周鸿祎指出,所有的颠覆式创新在开始时都是微创新,创业企业只有聚焦,才能突破。

周鸿祎认为,所有的颠覆式创新在开始时都是微创新,就是连颠覆者本人都没有意识到那会是一个颠覆。颠覆式创新都不是一夜之间发生的,是一步一步的通过微创新,不断的蚕食领先者的市场,最后等到不可逆转的时候,才能是颠覆。反过来如果一开始就知道是颠覆式创新,那么市场的强者一定会有反应,就没有颠覆的机会了。
对于微创新的定义,周鸿祎表示“从用户体验出发,把产品做得简单、易用,或者能够提高用户在使用产品过程中的愉悦感。任何在此方面所做的创新努力,哪怕很微小,也有价值,我把它叫微创新。”
同时,周鸿祎以“苹果公司”举例介绍,苹果公司今天颠覆了手机产业、PC产业,但这些都源于一款MP3播放器。一开始,连乔布斯本人也没意识到后来的颠覆。微创新是起点,只有通过持续的微创新,最后才有可能形成颠覆。
对于微创新的实践过程,周鸿祎介绍,微创新必须专注、必须聚焦;微创新的一个特点是快速调整,小步快跑。过去做产品,讲的是不鸣则已,一鸣惊人,或者说,十年磨一剑。但是,在这个时代,计划赶不上变化。闭门造车的结果,是等你造出来了,这个世界早就变化了。所以,如果要微创新,就要调整自己做事的方法,把闭门造车、十年磨剑变成快速调整、小步快跑,把产品研发周期从按年计算,改成按季度计算,甚至按月计算。但是,每次研发不一定要提出特别宏大的目标,然后拿到市场上去检验。赌错了没关系,因为只浪费了一个月或者一个季度的时间,还来得及调整。任何伟大的产品,都不是在屋子里想出来的,都是通过一个点,通过持续改进打磨出来的。所以,企业的研发流程和开发模式,也要有相应的变化。
周鸿祎:创业者须有屡战屡败的精神
周鸿祎对于创业者建言:“不怕失败,不断尝试,耐得住寂寞,创业者必须要有屡战屡败的精神。”据悉,360作为一家创业公司,通过五年的发展成为中国最大的互联网和手机安全产品及服务供应商,谈及成功经验,周鸿祎表示,“我从来不相信一个产品一炮就红。等你看到一个产品红的时候,这个产品实际上已经在此之前经历过相当长时间的辛苦。微创新一定要有这种长期、持续的失败准备。”

中国的企业家经常谈木桶理论,认为最短的木板决定木桶所装的水量。用在企业管理上,即企业的所有方面都要做好。对此,周鸿祎则要“唱一个反调”,他认为创业企业在资源有限的情况下,在微创新的时候,不要面面俱到。“什么都要照顾到等于什么都照顾不到。产品不怕有缺点,但只要有一点做到极致,打动了用户的心扉,用户是可以容忍产品其他缺点的。相反,一个完美无缺的产品,因为把资源分摊了,那么出来的就是平庸的东西。一个平庸的产品是不可能打动用户的。”
同时,周鸿祎表示,创新一定是少数人干的事,是失败率很高的事,是大部分人看不懂的事。所以,创新就像是《阿甘正传》里的阿甘一样,有点傻劲儿,经常被嘲笑,但有股韧劲儿。创业公司一定得有“二百五”一样的傻劲儿,有阿甘一样的韧劲儿,对创新要有信心,有激情。如果不创新,创业公司在实力上比拼不过大公司,如果不走创新的道路,肯定发展不起来。
