Dear Dr. Chan,

I am delighted to inform you that the Research Grants Council of Hong Kong will be launching the third round of Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme. The Scheme aims to unite top international research postgraduate students and Hong Kong's world-class research institutions. The Fellowship provides a monthly stipend of HK$20,000（approx. US$2,600）and a conference and research related travel allowance of HK$10,000（approx. US$1,300）per year for a period of three years. About 135 fellowships will be awarded for PhD studies in the 2013/14 academic year.
