Professor /Associate Professor/Assistant Professor – The School of Management and Economics(Ref# 1415/001/1)
Located in the Longgang District of Shenzhen, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen CUHK(SZ)is the first research‐intensive university established through a Mainland‐Hong Kong collaboration, with campus and infrastructure provided by the henzhen Government. It will launch its academic programmes in phases, and will offer courses in Science and Engineering, Management and Economics, and Humanities and ocial Science. The number of students will reach 11,000 in steady state.
The School of Management and Economics will be the first School at CUHK(SZ)to admit undergraduate students, offering 5 major areas from 2014:Economics, Finance, Global Business, Global Supply Chain and Logistics Management, and Marketing and Communication. Other professional programmes, including Accounting, Risk Management, and Insurance and Actuarial Science, will be offered from 2016. The School’s mission is to develop innovative and forward‐thinking leaders for the rapidly developing economy of China, and to become a top business school of the Pearl River Delta and China.

Post Specification
The School of Management and Economics at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK(SZ)invites applications for faculty positions in all areas of business management and economics at the Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor levels with prospect for tenure . Junior applicants should have(i)a PhD degree(by the time reporting for duty)in related fields, such as Accountancy, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, Operations Management, and Management Information Systems; and(ii)high potential in teaching and research. Candidates for Associate Professor and full Professor posts are expected to have demonstrated academic leadership and strong commitment to the highest standard of excellence. Appointments will normally be made on contract basis for up to three years initially, leading to appointment on longer term or tenure later subject to mutual agreement. Exceptionally, appointment with tenure can be offered forthwith to candidates of proven ability.
Salary and Fringe Benefits
Salary will be highly competitive, commensurate with experience and academic accomplishments. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK(SZ)and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable to the PRC.
