Plan Your Family’s 2015 Commencement Activities Start planning now for USC’s Commencement on Friday, May 15. Contact local hotels and restaurants early for your reservations and celebrations. The 2015 Grad Fest will be held in the ballroom of the Ronald Tutor Campus Center on February 11 - 12. To schedule complimentary graduation photos during the fall semester, click here.

Applications are now being accepted for Residential Assistants The Office for Residential Education is currently accepting applications for Resident Assistants for the 2015-2016 academic year. A Resident Assistant is a live-in, part-time position for undergraduates or graduate students interested in serving as a guide and resource for the student populations living in first-year and upper-division halls as well as graduate and family apartments. In order to be considered, an application must be completed by noon on Monday, January 5.
Participate in USC Alumni Day of SCervice Each year, thousands of Trojans gather across the globe to make a difference in their communities. The USC Alumni Day of SCervice is an opportunity for all alumni and friends to participate in local service volunteer projects organized by USC alumni clubs, chapters and other affiliated groups worldwide. Free Student Parking Offered During the Holiday Break The USC Department of Public Safety and USC Transportation Services offer free parking for students during the winter break through GIFT(Group Initiative For Theft prevention). Parents Needed to Host Trojan SCuppers in February Trojan SCupper is one of many special dinners bringing USC students and alumni together the weekend of February 20 - 22, 2015. Is your company or business seeking qualified and talented summer interns? Exclusive to USC Dornsife students, the unique summer Gateway Program combines a paid internship with a USC academic program and mentorship. Each student is paired with a distinguished professional or USC Dornsife faculty member and enrolled in a customized Multi-Disciplinary Activities(one unit summer course with USC Dornsife Faculty)course to enhance the internship experience through guest speakers, collaborations with fellow students and personal reflection. USC Career Center Seeks Parent Volunteers with Human Resources Backgrounds The USC Career Center is seeking parents with a background in human resources, or related fields, to join the Executive Volunteer Program. Volunteers provide professional advice to students(from freshmen to Ph.D. candidates)regarding their resumes and cover letters. The time commitment is one day per week for four hours(preferably 11:30am - 3:30pm)up to five weeks. Volunteers must have a bachelor’s degree with more than seven years of experience in human resources, recruiting, onboarding, talent management, workforce development, outplacement services or related fields. Interested applicants should email their resume to careers@usc.edu with “Executive Volunteer Program” in the subject line.

News from the USC Career Center Careerfest is a week of events for USC students centered on topics related to careers and "finding your fit" in every step of the process. The week will include panels, discussions, workshops and networking events for USC students hosted by departments across the USC campus. Activities are planned for January 26 - 30.

Apply for the Asian Pacific Alumni Association Scholarship Applications for the 2015 - 2016 academic year are now being accepted. Applicants must be a full-time student enrolled in a USC degree program or enrolled for the entire 2015 - 2016 academic year. Scholars are awarded based on needs and merit. Deadline for USC Alumni Association Scholarships is February 1 The USC Alumni Association and its affiliated groups award nearly $4 million each year in scholarships for USC students. To apply online, click here. The deadline for applications is Sunday, February 1.
