Director:Tien-Lun Yeh(葉天倫)Story: At the bustling "Ba Ba Ba Night Market," vendors deal with rivalries, unspoken romances and disputes over trivial matters, while working hard to sell their tasty delicacies. Things come to a screeching halt for the vendors when they learn of a real estate company(in cahoots with local politicians)are planning to takeover the land and deprive the vendors the opportunity to sell their food. Now that their very livelihoods are at stake can the vendors work together to fight off the developers?
Q & A with Mr. Weiko Lin(林偉克)

B.A. University of California, Los Angeles M.F.A. University of California, Los Angeles Recipient of a Samuel Goldwyn Writing Award and a finalist of Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Nicholl Fellowship, Lin has written feature projects for The Mark Gordon Company and Reason Pictures. Currently, he is writing a romantic comedy remake for Ivanhoe Pictures and developing a German crime thriller remake for Madhouse Entertainment.
Lin is the co-founder of The Unison Company for which he produced and wrote the original story for its debut Chinese romance film 100 Days directed by prime time Emmy winner Henry Chan(Scrubs, A to Z, King of Queens, Moesha). The film world premiered at the Hawaii International Film Festival and released theatrically nationwide in Taiwan last fall. It has since won the Audience Award at 2014 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival and been in competition at 12th Reggio Emilia Asian Film Festival in Italy. It is an official selection at 37th Asian American International Film Festival and the prestigious 2014 Golden Rooster Hundred Flowers Film Festival in China. As producer and original story writer, Lin is prepping the follow up Chinese language action thriller Retroactive for China-based Wanda Films set to film in 2015.
In television, Lin was the head writer for the 2014 Huading Global Film Awardshosted by Lucy Liu. It was produced in Hollywood, California by veteran Oscar and Emmy Awards producer Don Mischer. Honorees included Orlando Bloom, Halle Berry, Hans Zimmer, and Jeffrey Katzenberg.
Previously, he has taught screenwriting at Northwestern University, UCLA, and Taipei National University of the Arts as a Fulbright Senior Specialist.
