Ladies-only Coaches Launched on China's High-speed Trains
China's rail operators said that starting from April 10, they will roll out more personalized services in eight high-speed trains that operate overnight, attracting customers with offers such as deep discounts and ladies-only carriages.
Tickets for the ladies-only compartment can be booked on 12306.cn-China's official train booking website-on routes like Beijing-Guangzhou, Beijing-Shenzhen as well as Shanghai-Guangzhou and Shanghai-Shenzhen.

London-based Museum Displays Shenzhen School Uniform
It was later confirmed that the school uniform will be permanently stored by V&A and will be displayed in an exhibition called "All of This Belongs to You" until July 19.
The iconic school uniform was one of V&A's exhibition entries back in 2013. As one of the exhibitors of the 2013 Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture, V&A sent its staff to visit Shenzhen two years ago and invited local residents to choose an object that was important to modern-day Shenzhen.

Shenzhen Decides Street Performers' Schedule By Lucky Draw
Street artists in Shenzhen will be given licenses to perform in designated spots in Futian District. According to Guangzhou Daily, they'll even be given a performance schedule decided by drawing lots.
This makes Shenzhen the second Chinese city to regulate street performers after Shanghai.

Shenzhen Ranked as City with Highest Overtime Rates on Labor Day Holiday
A new survey by Chinanews.com says Shenzhen employees received the highest minimum overtime wages for working on the Labor Day weekend, compared to workers in other mega-cities like Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Beijing and Heilongjiang.
Shenzhen's labor bureau is expected to enforce its new monthly minimum wage standard of 2030 yuan per month and an overtime payment of at least 280 yuan for working on the Labor Day holiday on May 1. Workers in Shenzhen can pocket 653 yuan if they work throughout the three day holiday from May 1-3.
