The first World Chinese-language Poetry Conference was held in Zhenjiang, China's Jiangsu Province recently, during which poetry fans and experts gathered for discussion on the inheritance and revival of Chinese Poetry.
The conference was hosted by the World Chinese-language Poetry Alliance and the leading group of building Zhenjiang the City of Chinese poetry.
It is known that the conference will be held every year to promote the aesthetic culture of poetry and shorten distance between poetry and citizens.
