为进一步加强青年人才引进，促进国际交流合作，中国地质大学（武汉）特举办“国际青年学者地大论坛”，诚邀海内外青年才俊来校，交流学术，考察环境，相互了解，共同发展。

　　一、学科领域

　　论坛的主要内容包括学术报告、研讨会和讨论交流。涉及学科领域包括：地质学、地质资源与地质工程、海洋科学、海洋工程、大气科学、地球物理学、地理学、土木工程、水利工程、测绘科学与技术、石油与天然气工程、环境科学与工程、安全科学与工程、农业资源与环境、珠宝设计、数学、物理学、生物学、生态学、机械工程、仪器科学与技术、材料科学与工程、化学工程与技术、信息与通信工程、控制科学与工程、计算机科学与技术、软件工程、管理科学与工程、统计学、工商管理、公共管理、土地资源管理、理论经济学、应用经济学、设计学、外国语言学、应用语言学、教育学等。

　　二、报名条件

　　1、海外人才：年龄在40岁以下；具有海外知名大学博士学位，或者具有国内博士学位并在海外全职从事科研工作2年及以上；目前未全职在国内工作；在相关领域取得一定成绩，具有一定国际影响和较强的学术发展潜力。

　　2、国内人才：国家优秀青年科学基金获得者、国家“千人计划”青年项目入选者、国家“万人计划”青年拔尖人才、教育部“长江学者奖励计划”青年学者和以上四类人才项目进入会评者。

　　三、申请流程

　　1、符合条件的青年学者请登录论坛报名系统进行报名，报名系统网址：http://cugforum.cug.edu.cn/initPage.action?pid=MTY1NDk
　　2、报名截止时间为2018年2月21日。
　　3、学校将于2018年3月1日前向受邀学者发送邀请函。
　　4、受邀学者于收到邀请函一周内填写回执并回复确认是否参会。

　　四、论坛安排

　　论坛于2018年3月25日—3月28日在中国地质大学（武汉）举行。具体安排如下：

　　3月25日，报到

　　3月26日—3月27日，学校主论坛、学院或学科分论坛、交流、参观、座谈等

　　3月28日，离会

　　五、差旅与住宿

　　受邀参会的青年学者自订机票、火车票，学校报销往返机票、火车票费用（实报实销，根据国家规定机票限报经济舱）。论坛期间食宿由学校统一安排，费用由学校承担。

Announcement of the 2nd CUG Forum for International Young Scholars

The CUG Forum for International Young Scholars（CUG Forum）aims to bring outstanding young scholars into our university and promote international exchanges and cooperation. Young scholars from home and abroad are invited to China University of Geosciences（Wuhan）to promote academic exchanges, inspect the scientific research environment, enhance mutual understanding and make cooperation development.

ACADEMIC FIELDS

The CUG Forum includes academic lectures, workshops and discussions. The Forum welcomes participants in the fields of Geology, Geological Resources and Geological Engineering, Marine Science, Marine Engineering, Atmospheric Sciences, Geophysics, Geography, Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Surveying and Mapping Science and Technology, Oil and Gas Engineering, Environmental Sciences and Engineering, Security Science and Engineering, Agriculture Resources and Environment, Jewelry Design, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Ecology, Mechanical Engineering, Instrument Science and Technology, Materials Science and Engineering, Information and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering, Management Science and Engineering, Statistics, Business Administration, Land Resource Management, Applied Economics, Design Science, Foreign Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Pedagogy etc.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPLICATION

1. Oversea Young Scholars：Qualified applicants should be under 40 years old, holding a PhD from overseas well-known university or research institute, or holding a PhD from a domestic university or research institute and have overseas work experience at least two years, and not currently holding a full-time position in China. Applicants with good publications and academic achievements are encouraged to apply.
2. Domestic Young Scholars：Recipients of the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars, scholars of Thousand Talents Plan-Youth Program, Scholars of the Ten Thousand Talents Program-Outstanding Young Scholars, scholars of Chang Jiang Young Scholars Program, and other outstanding scholars who entered review meeting of the four talents programs above.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

2. The application deadline is February 21, 2018.
3. Qualified applicants will receive an official invitation letter before March 1, 2018.
