Celebrate summer with the hot new exhibition China Modern and the Coolhaus ice-cream truck, at Pacific Asia Museum on Sunday August 29, 2010! Plus, enjoy a chance to win a museum membership and admission tickets!

In celebration of our special exhibition, China Modern：Designing Popular Culture 1910-1970, which explores the graphic arts of 20th century China from early cosmopolitan Shanghai to the Cultural Revolution, Pacific Asia Museum is hosting a community partner family day on August 29.

Visitors are welcome all day. Scheduled program between 4-6 pm includes docent-led tour of China Modern and the museum collection, plus a raffle of museum membership and admission tickets. The popular Coolhaus ice-cream sandwich truck will also be at the event from 4-6 pm.

We have the pleasure of inviting your organization, along with other partners, to co-present this event. Benefits for community co-presenters include recognition in the museum’s promotional materials and online promotions, and two-for-one admission for your members and their families. All it takes to participate is your commitment to publicize this event to your members and encourage them to come. 

Don’t miss out! The exhibition offers a perfect opportunity to look back at the drastically changing 20th century China and the eternal charm of its graphic design traditions and evolutions. It is also a fun family day with networking opportunities with fellow community leaders and art patrons.
