为推动对新兴经济体国家的资本市场与公司治理前沿问题研究，广泛深入探讨中国的金融、财务和贸易等相关理论与实务问题，上海外国语大学将与国际期刊Emerging Markets Finance and Trade（SSCI, http://www.tandfonline.com/loi/mree20）合作举办新兴经济体资本市场发展与公司治理改革国际研讨会。我们诚邀金融、财务、经济、管理等领域的海内外专家与学者，向本次会议提交与会议主题相关的实证和理论类论文。

本次会议将邀请包括国际期刊Emerging Markets Finance and Trade主编在内的多位知名海内外专家出席并作主题演讲，参会论文将被择优推荐刊发。

本次会议投稿和报告语言均为英语。所有投稿的作者请将论文全文于2018年11月15日前发送至邮箱sefemft@163.com。组委会将组织专家进行匿名评审，在2018年11月20日前通知论文入选结果。论文评选的基本标准是研究主题的性质、意义以及研究设计的质量。

七、发表机会

论文被本次研讨会接受并做演讲的，将有机会发表在SSCI期刊 Emerging Markets Finance and Trade（EMFT, Social Sciences CitationIndex）正常刊期上。论文评审分为两个阶段。第一阶段，本次会议评审委员会对所有投稿的论文进行评估。第二阶段，被本次会议接受的论文将会被邀请投稿到期刊Emerging Markets Finance and Trade。论文被本次会议接受，并不意味着最终一定能够发表在该期刊上。所有被会议接受的文章，如果想发表在上述期刊上，仍然需要经历一轮快速评审的程序，以便达到该期刊的文章质量要求。作者需提交正常的投稿费用（150美元）。

Theme:The Development of Capital Markets and the Reform of Corporate Governance in Emerging Markets

Organized by：Shanghai International Studies University（SISU）

Undertaken by：School of Economics and Finance of Shanghai International Studies University

Supporting Journal：Emerging Markets Finance and Trade（SSCI）. All accepted papers will be published in a regular issue under a symposium title.

Dates：December 1- 2, 2018

Venue：Shanghai International Studies University（Hongkou Campus, 550 West Dalian Road）.

Background:

The School of Economics and Finance of Shanghai International Studies University and the international journal “Emerging Markets Finance and Trade” are co-organizing a major international conference to promote research into finance and economics in emerging markets and to encourage a wide range and in-depth study on theoretical and practical issues of capital markets and corporate governance in emerging markets. We invite domestic and international scholars in the fields of finance, economics and management to submit empirical and theoretical papers related to emerging economies and markets.

 

We have invited leading scholars at home and abroad including the chief editors of the international journals to deliver keynote speeches at the conference. Selected papers will be recommended to be published in Emerging Markets Finance and Trade（SSCI）, http://www.tandfonline.com/loi/mree20

Suggested topics：

We invite submissions of high quality, original researches in the area of finance, economics and management. Papers to be considered include but not limit to the following topics:

Registration:

All the participants need to register using sefemft@163.com.There is no registration fee. The organizer will provide meals during the conference. All participants are responsible for their own accommodation and transportation.

Submissions:

All the papers must be written and presented in English. Original full papers should be submitted to sefemft@163.com by November 15, 2018. Papers will be selected for presentation at the conference by the conference committee and will be notified by November 20, 2018. The criteria for selecting papers for the program include the nature of the research topic, the economic implications of the research, and the academic quality of the research design.

Publication Opportunity:

Selected papers will be considered for publication as a symposium in a regular issue of Emerging Markets Finance and Trade（SSCI,impact factor：0.826）.

 

The selection will be done in two steps. In the first stage, the conference committee will first screen and evaluate the papers. In the second stage, authors of selected papers will be invited to submit their papers to the journal to go through the standard review process. Acceptance of a paper to the conference does not guarantee acceptance into EMFT symposium. Submissions to the journal will undergo a fast-track review process that maintains the EMFT's normal publication standards. The standard submission fee applies（US$150）.
