Thirteen scholars from the College of Engineering listed as the 2018 Most Cited Chinese Researchers by Elsevier

The 2018 list includes a total of 1,899 scholars from 229 universities or research institutions in China.

The asteroid 79286 Hexiantu was discovered at Xinglong, Beijing on Sept. 28, 1995 by Beijing Schmidt CCD Asteroid Program. Its provisional number is 1995 SQ53.
