美国华裔教授专家网协办大型民族歌舞的盛宴 -“锦绣四川”访问洛杉矶演出（11/7 Pasadena）

　　“文化中国·锦绣四川”活动将于今年10月29日至11月12日在美国举办。活动主题为“魅力天府，锦绣四川”，由国务院侨务办公室、四川省人民政府共同主办，四川省侨办和省外宣办、省文化厅、省商务厅、省旅游局等共同承办。届时，将在美国五大城市分别举办“穿越灾难——四川汶川特大地震灾后重建图片展”、“锦绣四川图片展”、“锦绣天府”大型文艺演出、商务和旅游推介四大主题活动。届时美国民众将零距离接触多姿多彩的巴蜀文化。

　　2008年，美国华裔教授专家网姜镇英教授等组团奔赴汶川抗震救灾的第一线，和四川人民同甘苦、共奋战，结下了不解之缘。那惊心动魄、感人肺腑的时刻始终令人记忆犹新：

第6届中美电影节即将于10月28日开幕，50多部中美电影参展。　　
电影节主席苏彦韬、洛杉矶中领馆文化参赞陈怀之、文化领事钟玲、电影节共同主席胡惠玲、亚太博物馆教育负责人Amelia Chapman、奥斯卡得主、《狮子王》和《星球大战》音效大师安德森（Richard Anderson）、《超人》发行公司负责人欧玛、《融入美利坚》华裔导演蓝伯儒、好莱坞华裔影星张宇基等应邀参加。　　

与会的电影节嘉宾有参展电影《正青春》导演赵燕国彰、《SF故事》导演焦克森（Raul Jocson）、主演刘娇仪（Joyce Liu）、电影《我干嘛这么做?》制片Jeff Lam、《1001Way to Enjoy the Missionary Position》导演赵爱兰（Alan Chu）、制片Rebecca Hu以及演员Anthem Moss。

We have a large Chinese community here and a probably biggest Chinese school in southern California (https://www.ccca-tocs.org). We participated in the Sichuan Earthquake donation before. I am wondering whom can I talk to if we have an interest to invite The Sichuan Song and Dance Troupe for a performance in this western suburban off Highway 101 from LA, called Thousand Oaks. It would be about 1 to 1.5 hr drive (w/o traffic) from Pasadena where they will be performing on 11/7.

I am sure you have a lot to do for them being here. I would be grateful if you can give me some guidance on the local contacts for this even. If extra performance is possible, I like to ask a few preliminary questions, such as

• Can we get the same arrangement for Pasadena performance as we do here?
• How much cost would that be in total dollars (minus the cost of renting the theater)?
• What''''s minimum stage size of theater would they require? Are they flexible to accommodate for a smaller size theater with a smaller group of performers on stage?
