The Carnegie-Tsinghua Center for Global Policy is seeking to hire a full-time Research Associate with experience in energy and climate research, policy development and economics in China and Asia. The researcher will be based at the Carnegie-Tsinghua Center for Global Policy in Beijing, China and will report to both the Center’s Director in Beijing as well as Carnegie’s Energy and Climate Program Director in Washington, D.C.
Leading candidates will have a substantial record of policy-relevant research and writing; proven ability to communicate effectively with energy and climate policy communities in China and the United States; a Ph.D., J.D., or equivalent preferred; post-educational work experience; as well as fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English. The researcher will be expected to organize periodic events and to produce written products on behalf of the Center.
