Dear SCCAEPA friends,

You are cordially invited to join us in the symposium. Please see the attached program and press release for details.

Please also feel free to distribute to your friends.

The symposium will start at 10 AM on November 5, 2010. The United States Congresswoman (California 32 District) Dr. Judy Chu will speak at the opening ceremony. High rank officials from the United States Environmental Protection Agency and California Environmental Protection Agency will also speak in the morning. We have also invited the key note speaker at lunch from the Southern California Edison, on the subject of renewable and alternative energy.

Approximately 80 environmental experts and scholars from China, Taiwan, and the U.S. will participate in the symposium. Besides the traditional subject of water resources and air quality pollution management, there are also currently hot environmental topics, including environmental green technology, low carbon economy, alternative energy, and ecological restoration. In addition, on November 4, field trips are arranged, which include water resources management (waste water re-use), energy conservation facilities (Coca Cola Company, the Gas Company, etc.), and contaminated land and redevelopment. We welcome any participants for the field trip.

To learn more about SCCAEPA, please log on www.sccaepa.org. Thank you.
