We are excited to announce the 21st annual

  YOUNG MATHEMATICIANS CONFERENCE（YMC）

held at The Ohio State University

  Tuesday, August 13 – Thursday, August 15, 2024

YMC is an annual conference for undergraduate research in mathematics for students in REUs and similar programs around the country.

Successful applicants are invited with full travel support to present their research and interact with peer and senior participants. Invitations to YMC are competitive due to limited space and budget.

We expect to invite and fully support around forty student presenters.

Unfortunately, due to limited funding we will not be able to provide support for accompanying mentors.

## DEADLINE AND REVIEW TIMELINE

Applications to YMC 2024 are now open.

The deadline for applications is Friday July 12th at 5:00pm EDT

We expect to make decisions on the bulk of applications by Tuesday July 16th.

## JUDGES WANTED

If you are interested in undergraduate research, hold a mathematics Ph.D., have 5 or so hours' time and internet access in the days following the deadline（July 12–15）, and would like to help with judging, please email us at fowler@math.osu.edu.

The conference is funded under NSF grant DMS-1916606 and supported by the Department of Mathematics at The Ohio State University.
