Topic:
"San Diego Biotech Jobs in 2011 and Beyond"
Event Summary:
It looks like economy is picking up for 2011. Will the life science market follow? Join us to discuss with our panel of biotech industry experts to review the employment landscape for 2011. What are employers seeking, what skills are lacking, and what does the ideal scientist employee look like? Will there be many junior positions or is there is a need for more senior scientists? What are the key elements that employers are addressing in interviews:team player or self-starter, enthusiasm or experience, communication skills, focus or adaptability?
If you’re caught up in the trend towards hiring more temporary or contract employees, combined with consultants, outsourced embedded scientists and outsourced offshored full-time equivalents, you might want to know how to land one of these new flex-jobs also.
