With China surpassing Japan to become the world's second-largest economy and the central government investing $193 billion to modernize China’s healthcare system, a tremendous market for the medical device & diagnostics industry is emerging. Industry behemoths from US and Europe such as Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, and others are stepping up their presence in China to capitalize on the $14 billion medical device market, which is expected to double by 2014. This conference offers a rare opportunity for a diverse cross-section of companies to share their successes and the challenges they faced navigating the Chinese market.
