　　隨著中國經濟的高速發展，中國的金融市場也正以驚人的速度大快步前進。 在這樣的市場經濟下，許多企業成功的在國內外上市， 更有不少中國企業成功地在美國發行了股票。 眾所周知，一個完善的會計和審計的規章制度是金融市場的發展以及公司在海外成功發行股票的重要環節。因為在這個過程中，許多的國際投資者們會對中國企業的年度財政報告投以關注的目光，對季度和年度報告里的敏感數字十分關注。 在此次研討會上，夏頻教授將會與大家一起回顧近年來中國會計與審計制度的發展進程， 他將引用一些實例來具體說明企業在中國上市的財政披露要求，以及審計方面對它們的考核。

　　本次研討會主講人——夏頻教授目前擔任中國湖北大學會計學系主任並擁有中國武漢大學會計學博士學位。在此之前曾擔任政府審計長， 有十餘年的審計工作經驗。 另外，夏頻教授亦是中國一家著名會計公司合作夥伴， 許多已上市的中國及海外公司都得到過他在會計和審計方面的鼎力協助。

Seminar on China’s Accounting & Auditing

Along with its fast economic growth, China’s financial markets are growing very fast. As a result, more companies go public either inside or outside China; particularly many Chinese companies have gone IPOs in the US. One important factor of the developments of financial markets and particularly IPOs of companies is the accounting and auditing standards, regulations and practices. Many international investors always have concerns about financial reports of Chinese companies. They often wonder whether these numbers in the quarterly/annual financial reports are reliable. In this special seminar, Dr. Pin Xia will review the evolution and latest developments of China’s accounting and auditing standards and practices. In particular, he will use some cases to demonstrate financial disclosure requirements of public-traded companies in China and how they will be audited. 

Dr. Pin Xia is the Professor and Chair of the Department of Accounting at Hubei University, China. He received his Ph. D. in Accounting from Wuhan University. He worked for more than 10 years as governmental auditing officer and a partner of a CPA firm in China before he became a professor. He has helped many Chinese and foreign companies in their compliance with accounting/auditing standards.
