麻省理工學院中國創新與創業論壇（MIT-CHIEF）將於11月16日至18日舉辦。
MIT-CHIEF主要透過主題演講、板塊討論、創業大賽和科技展覽等多種形式，希望增進中國與美國對創新與創業的交流。研討主題分為創新教育，創業精神，環保能源，醫療保健，資訊科技等八大項目。
年會將邀請許多學術精英、企業領導、與投資專家出席。如IBM全球副總裁與現任IBM中國研究院院長李實恭，微軟公司全球資深副總裁張亞勤，科技部副部長王偉中，軟通動力總裁劉天文。總共約40位演講者。
MIT史隆商業管理學院主席羅伯茲（Edward Roberts）是年會中創業計畫大賽的評審之一。他表示，成功從個人開始，他希望看見創業者創造產品的熱忱。今年共有160隊參與。25隊入選。6隊角逐冠軍。進入決賽者共可獲得2萬元現金獎，以及MIT-CHIEF ODGE學生創新獎等獎項。麻省理工史隆管理學院教授黃亞生在啟動儀式致辭時表示他很支持MIT-CHIEF活動，因為MIT注重創意與創業精神。

MIT-CHIEF is the first endeavor of MIT Chinese students and scholars to build a multidisciplinary platform that promotes the communication and collaboration between China and the US in the context of technology, innovation and entrepreneurship. Our three-day conference consists of a business plan contest, keynote speeches, panel discussions, and technology showcases. Particularly, the business plan contest has already received approximately 100 project submissions from both the US and China competing for a total cash prize of USD 20,000.
Speakers and panelists invited to MIT-CHIEF this year include world-renowned scholars, entrepreneurs, policy makers, investors, and industry experts.
