Talk Title: Nano Science and Technology: Challenges and Opportunities
Abstract:
Nanoscience and Nanotechnology will play a very important role in the next S&T revolution. Prof. Bai will use some examples to illustrate recent nano applications in China, and to make an analysis on the nano S&T developments including problems and challenges to be faced. He will also discuss the potential opportunities for nano S&T to make breakthroughs in the future.
Visit Background:
CNSI and the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology (NCNST) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding for scientific cooperation during a visit to China by UCLA Chancellor Gene Block and CNSI Director Paul Weiss. NCNST is a joint research center between the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Peking University, and Tsinghua University.
