　　CSA（教授协会）理事会新年度改选和提名将于１１月１日开始。我们热诚地欢迎所有的华裔教授积极提名或自我提名。这次改选将会选出７位新理事。根据协会的章程和传统，选举委员会对所有的候选人将一视同仁：入会不分先后，提名不论新老。即使您还不是教授协会的成员，如果符合入会条件和有志服务会员，您的申请和提名都会得到真挚的欢迎。详细步骤请阅读下列通知：

CSA Election of 2010-2011 Board of Directors

Dear CSA Members,

The term of the current CSA Board of Directors will end at the end of this year. It is time to elect the next Board of Directors to ensure a smooth transition. The seven new Directors’ term will be from January 2010 through December 2011. All CSA members whose memberships are current are eligible to participate in the election process, and are encouraged to self-nominate and/or nominate (an)other current CSA member(s). All current members, including candidates, have the right to vote. Details of the voting process will be forthcoming once a slate of candidates is available.

The CSA Election Committee consists of Drs. Yong-Gang Li (Chair), Lisa Wang, and Bing Huang. Please note that all nominations and candidates’ campaign statements are to be sent to csaelection2009@yahoo.com, which is a specifically designated email address for all members of the Election Committee to monitor the election process simultaneously. You may also send any questions regarding the election to the same address.

Election Schedule:

Nov. 1-15: Send nominations and self-nominations to the Election Committee.
Nov. 16-25: Candidates send their campaign statements to the Election Committee.
Nov. 26-Dec. 5: Voting period.
Dec. 8: Election Committee reports the election results to the CSA Board.
