　　為推廣歌仔戲文化，本書院特邀請歌仔戲薪傳大師、第27屆行政院文化獎得主廖瓊枝老師，於2月13日至16日分別在「加州大學洛杉磯分校」（UCLA）、「爾灣中文學校」、 「洛杉磯中央圖書館」及「南加大亞太博物館」等演講、示範身段與唱腔、安排伊2位傳習藝生演出15-20分鐘之山伯英台「樓台會」折子戲及映演廖老師之成就紀錄片「國色牡丹」等。

Legendary Taiwanese opera performer Ms. Liao Chiung-chih will be presenting 4 renditions in Los Angeles（ as attached）, which will include demonstrations and discussions of traditional Taiwanese opera poses and vocals, as well as performances of “The Butterfly Lovers.”（https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zAu29FUOnM）Besides her fame, she is also the recipient of the National Cultural Award of Taiwan—the highest award given to those who have made outstanding contributions in arts and culture.
