SIXTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INTERDISCIPLINARY SOCIAL SCIENCES

This year Social Sciences Conference will take place in New Orleans, USA at the University of New Orleans. The University of New Orleans is located on Lake Ponchatrain in New Orleans, Louisiana. Site of social and environmental crises in recent years, and at the heart of the biggest urban renewal in American history, UNO and New Orleans offer the perfect backdrop to examine critical dilemmas addressed in the the Social Sciences.
The conference will address interdisciplinary practices across the social sciences, and between the social sciences and the natural sciences, applied sciences and the professions. It will work in a multidisciplinary way, across diverse fields and taking varied perspectives in order to address the fundamentals of the social sciences.
As well as impressive line-up of international plenary speakers, the conference will include numerous paper, workshop and colloquium presentations by practitioners, teachers and researchers. We would particularly like to invite you to respond to the conference call-for-papers. Presenters may choose to submit written papers for publication in the fully refereed International Journal of Interdisciplinary Social Sciences. If you are unable to attend the conference in person, virtual registrations are also available which allow you to submit a paper for refereeing and possible publication, as well as access to the Journal.
Whether you are a virtual or in-person presenter at this conference, we also encourage you to present on the conference YouTube Channel. The deadline for the next round in the call for papers (a title and short abstract) is 2 December 2010. Future deadlines will be announced on the conference website after this date. 不帶一個髒字 罵得全場掌聲
日本共同社記者採訪了一北大學生，以下是現場原版真實問答記錄：
問:你支持抵制日貨的這種觀點或行動嗎?
答:每一個人都是一個個體，每個個體都是自由的。我無法左右別人的思想，也無權控制別人的行動。
問：你如何定位中日關係？
答：客觀定位，平等互利關係。
問：從學生的角度看，你認為兩國關係中最大的障礙是什麼？
答：顯然，日方在很多方面做出了錯誤的言論和舉動，而這是我們不能接受和容忍的！一句話，改善中日關係需要日方正視歷史，拿出善意和誠意。
問：你個人使用日貨嗎？
答：有，馬桶。（在場學生大笑）
問：那你告訴我，為什麼日本的馬桶會比中國的好？
答：在中國，這種話題是不登大雅之堂的，在公共場合提論這種話題是很變態的。（笑聲）當然，我不知道是你有這樣的嗜好，還是貴國有這種習慣。（笑聲）
問：關於歷史問題，中日兩國是否有途徑可以卸下這個沉重的「包袱」？
答：請注意你的用詞！我不同意你的這種說法。你的這個問題本身就在誣陷中國。自古至今，中國從不存在什麼「沉重包袱」。中華民族是心胸開闊，豁達前瞻的優秀民族，寬厚待人，睦鄰周邊是中國的美德。因此我們正視歷史，但絕不以怨抱怨。我們容忍和解，包括對待日本。請問，中國和中華民族的歷史包袱是什麼？中國人民做過對不起日本的事嗎？問題恰恰是侵略中國、犯下滔天罪行的日本不正視歷史，在中國燒殺掠奪，瘋狂地要滅絕中華民族。犯罪的日本不向中國和中國人民認罪賠償損失，還要叫囂海外出兵擴疆，分裂中國，霸佔中國國土，激怒中國人民。這樣的史實太多。請問，這是中國背歷史包袱嗎？（在場學生鼓掌）
問：我也經常看新聞，最近一段時間，中國生產事故頻發，死亡率想必不會低吧？
答：同你們國家一樣，每人死一次。（笑聲、掌聲）
問：在中國大學校園?，學生自殺頻繁發生、屢禁不止，這是為什麼？
答：事實上，學生自殺最多的是在你們國家。許多稀奇古怪的自殺方式就是你們國家的「自殺一族」發明的。在聯合國公佈的相關資料中，日本的自殺率排名世界第一。我不知道你手上有什麼足夠的證據來證明我國的校園自殺事件。毛澤東主席有一句名言「沒有調查就沒有發言權」。希望你做客觀真實的報導。對你剛才提問中使用的詞語我有必要糾正，在中國漢語語法中，「頻繁發生」和「屢禁不止」是重複的，你的用詞存在錯誤。而且，你的說法不符合事實！（掌聲）
問：在日本留學的中國學生非法竊取日本的機密情報，你知道嗎？
答：我無法核實你的消息的準確性和真實性。這種荒唐說法就跟布希打伊拉克是因為薩達姆偷了布希家的高壓鍋一樣可笑。（現場大笑）

All our old friends, especially those with ages, please take care of your and your family members' health!!!
Indeed, I just lost a beloved mentor in Beijing who suffered a sudden heart shock and just 57 years old. I have almost no time to pay back my contribution to him for his generous help to me during the past 20 years.
So, I would say, be happy since life is not long, be productive since time is limited, be benefactor since we all are beneficiary, be healthy since our body and soul are weak, and etc....( finally, I find these may be the Chinese words as: 快乐、创造、奉献、健康......).
