Hello,
The party in last Saturday is a very good one. It provides many local singles a chance to meet each other. This is especially precious for our singles who live in a narrow social environment and busy in the work or study. We just don't have a chance to meet other singles and definitely need this kind of party. I went there with some of my friends, We all appreciate the effort from the organizers. Here we also have some questions and suggestions:
1) The room used to hold the party that day is kind of small for so many persons . All the seats are arranged in a very tight way, so it's hard for individuals to move and sit around to chat with the person he/she is interested after the BINGO game. That day I saw some gentlemen who seems to be very nice persons, but I can't find a chance to talk to him because he is sitting in the middle of the row and there are no spare chair available around him, so I can't move there to chat with him.
2) One time party like this is really not enough for the gentlemen and ladies who met in the very first time, they haven't overcome the unfamiliarity in the very first time. Most of the persons are professionals/students who grew up in traditional chinese culture , so it's hard for them to be very aggressive when meeting a new lady/gentleman in the very first time. I think this situation is for almost everyone, except some persons who are very extroverted and aggressive. But if these singles can have chance to meet together second time or third time soon, I think most of them will be more easy or comfortable to chat with each other.
We strongly suggest to have one or two following up parties in near future. Especially in this holiday season ! So all the attendees who join the party this time can have a chance to meet others soon again. There are many different way to have this kind of following up party. For example, the party style can be : hiking/chatting event in some parks, or BBQ or dinner party. The organizer can just initialize the event by notifying everyone the time and place. There is no need to reserve the room or prepare foods if the organizers are busy. I think choosing free park for hiking or communicating will be convenient for both organizers and attendees. Thanks again for the party , and wish the organizer can consider our suggestions too. |
