休士頓中華文化服務中心主辦「看護者培訓課程」高級班
11月12日(週六) 在文化中心開班。這項免費培訓課程有：年長者心理問題，生前信託，遺產管理，醫療授權書，療養院監察員介紹，及年長者常見的疾病與預防。文化中心特別邀請到美國専業諮詢師李譚雅芳女士，林志豪律師，汪家成家庭醫學專科醫生，黃金陣容的講師是一場非常精彩的課程。上課時還開放發問時間，機會難得。這項課程免費培訓，上完課者，並發給上課證明。
招生對象為：60歲以上的年長者或家中有年長親友需要有人照顧者。中華文化服務中心為促進年長者健康，並增進看護者在照顧年長者時生活品質。這項計劃由哈里斯郡老人事務總署(Area Agency on Aging) 贊助，由文化中心主辦的「看護者培訓課程」，名額有限，請早報名。報名請週一至週五上班時間洽文化中心120室。詳情請洽 ：713/271-6100轉106。

This conference will address interdisciplinary practices across the social sciences, and between the social sciences and the natural sciences, applied sciences and the professions. It will work in a multidisciplinary way, across diverse fields and taking varied perspectives in order to address the fundamentals of the social sciences.
This year''''s Social Sciences Conference will take place in Barcelona, Spain at Universidad Abat Oliba CEU. Barcelona is home to buildings that date as far back as the Roman settlement as well as the World Heritage Site works of architect Antoni Gaudi, including the famous Sagrada Familia Church. Other notable sites include The National Museum of Art of Catalonia, Barcelona Zoo, and the Barceloneta Beach. The conference will include numerous paper, workshop and colloquium presentations by practitioners, teachers and researchers. We would particularly like to invite you to respond to the conference call-for-papers. Presenters may choose to submit written papers for publication in the fully refereed International Journal of Interdisciplinary Social Sciences. If you are unable to attend the conference in person, virtual registrations are also available which allow you to submit a paper for refereeing and possible publication, as well as access to the Journal.
Whether you are a virtual or in-person presenter at this conference, we also encourage you to present on the conference YouTube Channel.
