Jim Psota is a serial entrepreneur and co-founder and CTO of Panjiva. Panjiva''''s technology consists of both advanced machine learning and natural language processing algorithms, and large scale web applications and data visualizations -- and heavily relies on the Ruby programming language. James is a veteran entrepreneur and is responsible for Panjiva''''s technical direction and product development. James worked for Intel Research, where he incorporated artificial intelligence techniques into his computer architecture work. James also conducted artificial intelligence research at Caltech and is published in the field of computer science. While serving as Panjiva''''s technology lead, James is pursuing a doctoral work in large-scale parallel computer architectures in the Computer Science Department at MIT. James was recently a featured speaker at a Barclays Capital conference in New York and an Entrepreneurship conference at Microsoft. James holds a B.S., summa cum laude, in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University and an S.M. in Computer Science from MIT.

Bob Huff’s so-called “birthday” event is a “political” one to get folks to donate for his re-election and/or vote for him, right? The citizens of Walnut community have dealt with him before and left in their mouths a bad taste, including those residents who are Republicans themselves. His wife is Mei Mei Ho, who’s from Taiwan, and who’s desperately trying to get the Asian/Chinese community to be on her husband’s “side.” I am not sure that CAPP Network is an academically appropriate forum to market his event. Just my private thoughts to you in case you don’t know this
