The CTA Good Teaching Conferences support excellent teaching and learning practices for classroom teachers via peer-to-peer instruction. Offering a variety of diverse workshops focused on curriculum content areas for K-12 teachers, the conferences provide opportunities for professional development and offer time to network and share ideas with colleagues and experts in the field of education.
This conference includes one university credit unit to all attendees, meals and materials at a reduced rate of only $129 for members ($567 for non-members). Hi, all,
I am glad to announce that this year’s application for 2023 China Scholarship Council is now open. Please see the attached flyers for more information. Right now, CSC scholarship is available for all CSUN alumni and graduating seniors. Our deadline for this year’s application is Feb. 28, 2023.
I understand there are plenty of concerns for the pandemic policy in China, but I am optimistic that the situation will get better and there will be less regulation on travel to China. The starting time for this year’s application will be early September 2023, so there will be enough time to plan and prepare. I understand right now there is some tension between China and US, and I also look at it in an optimistic way: we will need people to understand China better to make sound decisions, and the best way to do it is to go to China and see it with your own eyes.
Please encourage your students and friends to apply. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to let me know. Ms. Rebecca Spector from CSUN’s IESC will also help you with any questions you might have, as she has a great amount of experience and knowledge with this program and Studying Abroad programs in general.
